The Harbor Economic Impact Model (HEIM) was developed to help Alaska communities assess the local and regional economic value of their harbor infrastructure. The original 2004 version included a full VBA-driven interface, while the 2016 version strips out the macros for compatibility with modern Excel. Both are provided with the original user manual.
You can now also check out an online implementation of the model! It’s in beta testing and uses the original data from 2004, but you’re able to update a lot of it. Check it out here: HEIM Online.
