We conducted a tariff study for the Port of Nome that evaluated historical data and assumptions from prior planning efforts related to the port modification feasibility study and expansion and developed financial projections based on project traffic and commodity movements. The analysis used three scenarios to project traffic and financial implications for the port over the next decade and concluded with recommendations for the port’s tariff rates and capital replacement strategy. This work took place in 2023–2024.
