We conducted a regional impacts analysis for a proposed expansion of the City of Homer’s harbor, a project being studied by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Alaska District. This work built on the Harbor Economic Impact Model that we created in 2003 for the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities to look at the effects of the expansion on Homer and the Kenai Peninsula Borough. This work took place in 2008.
