We conducted a benefits analysis in support of the Matanuska-Susitna Borough’s application for a 2024 PIDP grant for a barge ramp at Port MacKenzuie. Due to the cost of the project, a formal benefit-cost analysis was not required, nor was there sufficient information to fully estimate benefits. The work focused instead on potential sources of benefits, updating and greatly expanding upon the benefits initially identified and quantified in the borough’s 2023 application. This work took place in 2024.
