We collected and analyzed a wide variety of data related to the economic and other benefits provided by port and harbor facilities around Alaska. Data sources included published resources as well as a survey that we developed and sent to the member list of the Alaska Association of Harbormasters and Port Administrators (AAHPA). The findings of the work were documented in a white paper, along with statistics for use in a brochure and a presentation to the 2016 AAHPA Annual Conference. This work took place in 2016.
