We updated the Port and Harbor Ten-Year Development Plan. The work included an analysis of factors affecting marine activities in Unalaska, including the review of historical facility use data and industries affecting the local economy. We reviewed tariffs for Port of Dutch Harbor facilities and existing conditions and needs. We assessed needed infrastructure maintenance and improvements over the next decade to meet demand for facilities and services. Finally, we provided rate recommendations for existing and planned facilities. This work took place in 2008–2009.
