We were part of a team assisting with portions of an EIS for the South Fork Wind Farm Project, an offshore wind energy project that would export power to Long Island, New York. We provided expertise for socioeconomics, economics, commercial and recreational fishing, and navigational risk. My role was to lead the Vessel Traffic and Navigational Risk portion of the EIS. This work took place in 2018–2021.
