We completed a comprehensive tariff review and gateway cost analysis for the Port of Corpus Christi (PCCA). The review involved collection and verification of tariff, infrastructure, and cargo movement data from multiple reference ports; conducting an item-by-item analysis of tariff elements and proposing practical modifications; detailed analysis of select commodities, break bulk, and containers; and performing a total gateway cost analysis with comprehensive evaluation of diverse fees across six ports. We produced a detailed report encapsulating our methodologies, findings, and recommendations, and presented the findings of the tariff review to PCCA’s leadership and board. This work took place in 2023–2024.
